Job Title: Complex Product Owner
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite/Hybrid as required)
Position Type: Contract

Job Description

A leading Product client in the Payment Network Business Unit is seeking a Product Owner with strong Technical Project Management experience to support a large-scale migration initiative.

Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager
  • American Express (Amex) experience highly preferred
  • Strong background working in Payments, CAS, Authentication (Auth), or related transaction systems
  • Proven experience working on Migration projects
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
  • Strong communication, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the product backlog for the migration initiative
  • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define requirements
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery as a Product Owner with Technical PM capabilities
  • Ensure seamless migration execution across systems and dependencies
  • Interface with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Amex systems
  • Understanding of CAS, Auth, and payment transaction flows
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and roadmap planning skills
